As I am sure most people will know Tignes is most famous for its skiing and snowboarding. Tignes has guaranteed year round snow and the highest lift takes you up to 3550 meters. Tignes is one of the few resorts that is suitable for all levels from complete beginner to expert. In total there are over 300 kms of pistes and 97 excellent ski lifts keeping queues to a minimum. Once in the mountains you have 16 restaurants to keep hunger at bay, or with runs going back into the resort you can ski into one of the villages with ease. With the villages being above 2100m you are sure to get some of the best snow around where ever you go! Tignes is also linked to Val d'isere by the lifts and piste, just make sure you get an ‘Espace Killy’ lift pass. This is also valid for one day’s skiing in Les Arcs, La Plagne or The 3 Valleys. Ski Area: 20 Green Runs 60 Blue Runs 35 Red Runs 16 Black Runs Activities New in Val Claret beside the bottom car park is ICE-KARTING - this is amazing fun and will certainly test your driving skills in the snow and ice.
